to simplify the language, the terms 'god' and 'goddess' will be used in lieu of vid'scien or 'dragon'

🧿 there were, originally, as many vid'scien as there were stars in the night skies. now, only 13 have names that are remembered — and only 12 are worshipped as gods, as the other is considered... other from the rest.

🧿 many of the vid'scien manifested on other planets as deities of worship in new forms. on earth, some were arthurian; some were norse; some were greek. they varied in their styles of influence. a great many did not stay for long and so were replaced by other more 'true' deities that became those of stories, taking on the mantles they left behind.

🧿 with a'suri, as it is with humans and other species, the vid'scien manifest in a different form; often with different names, associations, and merits, though their core strengths, elements and powers remain mostly teh same. it is more a matter of which visage is best to interpret and which gift they focus on before that worshipping gaze.

🧿 the a'suri, however, do not often worship the vid'scien; they worship mostly their own ancestral god and Lûnesa, the Nightsinger, who has no form among the vid'scien and is often seen as above them in the heirarchy of power on their planet.

🧿 Aellith'er is the triple deity of beauty, fertility and desire, associated with rites of passion, sex, hunt and colors. Their followers are known for the flowers they wear in elaborate hairstyles. In other pantheons, Aellith'er is seen as a lesser deity, although it is one of the few Vid'scien the A'suri have built some offering shrines to, as they appreciate its core values. Some alternate facades have been: Moirai, The Norns and Matres.

🧿 Xal'Jo is the goddess of celebration, abundance and assassinations. Associated most often with rites of wealth, indulgence and public displays of all sorts, her followerse are known for the heavy weight of their many accessories. Like Aellith'er, the A'suri like her values, but worship her far less often. Other faces have been: Copia, Freyja and Lakapti.

🧿 Luxk'ai is the god of valor, inspiration and truth. Often associated with rites of courage, schools of knowledge and games of wit and tactics, his followers are known for never being without books of spells and truths. He has no other visages, as he only exists as himself.

🧿 I'ilaker is the god of thunder, opposition and thresholds. Associated with the rites of rain, ground-breaking, and changes in relationships. His followers are konwn for the scars they wear with pride after rituals of blood-binding to one another. True to his value of opposition, I'ilaker never makes appearances as a human, only as various creatures.

🧿 Arak'rial is the goddess of nightmares, strength and madness. Associated with rites of war, torment and fear, she is called upon before battles of certain doom. Her followers are known for their ornate weapons and giving worship to their blades, not statues. Other facades include: Melinoë and The Erinyes.

🧿 Ka'yir'ull is the goddess of mysteries, nature and prophecy. Associated with rites involving disks, stars and colorful cards, her followers are all nudists. She has no other associations: she plays whatever cards she must to deliver her message.

🧿 El'emos the goddess of storms, luck and alchemy. Typically associated with rites of victory, mountain journeys and powders for various uses, her followers are known for speaking a secret language. Her other visages are a mystery, but it's believed she often manifests as a man on Earth.

🧿 Dyro'cynai is the goddess of battle, moons and night. Typically associated with rites of adulthood and weaponmaking, her followers are few but noted by the jewels they wear along their heads. It is often believed she is a servant to the true moon goddess of their universe: Lûnesa, the Nightsinger.

🧿 Ty'ai is the god of shame, armor and healing. Typically associated with cowards, the weak and the dying, he has no followers; his only prayers come from those who are dying of unjust (I.E.: anything outside of battle or sex) causes. He always manifests as a child and a monster chasing her.

🧿 Juyka'kosi the god of seasons, youth and law. Associated with holidays, constellations and the rites of gift giving, his followers typically wear brightly colored paint on their faces. He does not often manifest as gods in other cultures, but entities: Santa Claus, Befana and Baba Nowruz.

🧿 Tass'ler the god of dreams, mercy and runaways. He is associated with the rites of sleep, penance and thieves, and his followers are known for leaving markings over their doorways so others know they are safe havens. Tass'ler is strong enough to demand respect from others and, for that, never manifests as another facade; he does not cower to the values of his brethren or people.

🧿 Ny'skai'y goddess of names, contracts and order. Associated with rites of congregation, law and deals, her followers are known for mostly being in positions of power. She manifests as justice figures in various cultures, not typically as deities.

🧿 Then there is K'liir who is not seen as a Vid'scien or worshipped as a god at all because he predates all the Vid'scien. He is Death. He is Time. He is the Beast of Unburdening who gets blamed for all that goes wrong: the fall of the empires, the death of the Vid'scien, every loss, every blemish. He has more facades and names than he does heads and tongues, and none keep track; he is only thought of as the liar, the teller of tales, not to worship but to fear and avoid, forever. Even its true name is unknown; K'liir is only the denomination that has been given unto it by the X'arna of this generation.
